Before you book us:

This is important......Choose a hall or venue where it can be made DARK! The UV lights will then work the best when there is no daylight or other lighting in the hall. Don’t forget to check curtains, skylights etc.  We have had customers tape bin liners to windows if needed!

Is there parking right near the entrance? Are there stairs? This will help us load all our heavy equipment quickly and easily on the day.

Are there plenty of accessible sockets for our equipment and lights?

Does the venue have a sound limiter? Not a problem if it does, but handy to know beforehand.

Booking us:

We need a small non-refundable booking fee (usually £30 and taken from total cost) to save the date and time for you. We CANNOT save the date until we have received the booking fee ( usually payable by bank transfer). Once paid we will send you full confirmation details and our T&Cs. Once you have confirmed all the booking details are correct and you agree to the T&Cs then the date will be saved for you. The rest of the payment is payable either before the party via bank transfer or on the day of the party when we arrive in cash.

BEFORE THE PARTY:

We need room for  2 tables for our equipment and 2 chairs for our face painter. Please let us know in advance if there are any available at the venue as we can use or we can bring our own.

The DJ will play personalised play list when sent in advance, at least 3 days before the party with up to 10 songs. (No explicit lyrics please for kids parties.)

You can suggest to your guests to wear neon or white to the party as they’ll show up brilliantly in the UV lights. Also inform parents/carers of children invited that there will be face painting for those aged 3 and over so they can let you know if anyone is unable to have it done. You might also want to think about how to decorate the hall with UV balloons etc - the choice is yours!

 

 

ON THE DAY:

We set up approx 30 minutes before the event and need 30 minutes to pack away at the end. Please bear this in mind when booking the venue.

The face painter will be painting with their UV reactive paints for the whole party time. The face paints are all professional brands and dermatologically tested. We usually face paint the birthday boy/girl first if desired. The face painter is fully insured. Please note - face painting is for ages 3 and over only.

The DJ will provide the music and lights and organise the games and prizes.

Kids parties: 

Our kids parties are usually for 2 hours.  The music will start playing to give the guests time to arrive and settle in. Then it's time to start dancing! The DJ will play a variety of songs suitable for the age group, including the personalised playlist, if sent to us in advance. Party games will start once the children have arrived and some of them have been face painted. Prizes will be given out throughout the party during the games. There will be a chance to dance between games too, which we adapt according to age group. We usually finish with a group photo.

Let us know if you want us to include a time for them to eat (recommended near the end of the party). We can continue playing music (a bit quieter) and continue face painting during this time. You might want to bring out the birthday cake at this point.

Please note:

Parents/adults need to supervise the behaviour of the children as this is not the responsibility of the DJ or face painter. Any children with any additional needs, please make us aware before the party.

An additional charge will apply for any parties booked over 12 miles from Brentwood.

Please ask for details for prices for longer parties, more children.

Recommended ages for the children's parties is age 6-11 years but we can cater for the teens too!

Insurance and PAT certificates are available on request if required by the venue.

School/Corporate events:

We can cater for larger numbers and more than one session for events like school discos for different age groups on the same evening.  We can also provide extra face painters to cover larger amounts of people.   Please contact us to discuss more.
